Top 10 Country Singles
Kenny Chesney ends Craig Morgan's domination of the No. 1 spot on the charts as "Anything But Mine" becomes Kenny's eighth No. 1. Look for Kenny to hold on to the top spot for a second week next week. Craig's "That's What I Love About Sunday" drops to No. 2 this week. Holding onto the same positions as last week are Brooks and Dunn with "It's Getting Better All the Time," and Montgomery Gentry with "Gone." Jo Dee Messina moves up one spot to No. 5 with "My Give a Damn's Busted." Sugarland's "Baby Girl" drops one spot to No. 6, and Gretchen Wilson moves up two spots to No. 7 with "Homewrecker." Dropping one spot to No. 8 is Andy Griggs' "If Heaven." Toby Keith is charging up three spots to No. 9 with "Honky Tonk U." At No. 10 is Joe Nichols, also moving up three with "What's a Guy Gotta Do."
Moving Up at the Speed of Light
Sugarland's second single from their Twice the Speed of Life album; "Something More," is our fastest rising song this week, moving up 11 places from its debut at No. 49 to No. 38 this week. Jamie O'Neal's "Somebody's Hero" has been on the charts for three weeks, and moves up 7 this week from No. 53 to No. 46. Tied for third, each moving up five spots are Cross Canadian Ragweed's "Alabama," moving from No. 54 to No. 49, and Miranda Lambert's "Bring Me Down," which moves from its debut last week at No. 58 to No. 53 this week.
The Latest Tunes To Hit The Air Waves
Blue County release a new single called "That Summer Song," and it debuts at No. 56. Rebecca Lynn Howard releases "No One'll Ever Love Me" this week, debuting at No. 58, and Shooter Jennings "4th of July," featuring George Jones debuts at No. 59.
Top 10 Country Album Charts
Larry The Cable Guy holds onto the No. 1 spot on the country albums charts with The Right to Bare Arms. Rascal Flatts' Feels Like Today remains at No. 2, with Gretchen Wilson's Here For The Party holding steady at No. 3. Shania Twain's Greatest Hits moves up two to No. 4 from No. 6 last week, while Kenny Chesney's Be As You Are: Songs from an Old Blue Chair remains at No. 5. Tim McGraw's Live Like You Were Dyin' moves from No. 10 to No. 6 this week, while the Totally Country 4 compilation album remains at No. 7. At No. 8 is Kenny Chesney's When The Sun Goes Down, moving up one from last week. Keith Urban makes some big moves from No. 13 to No. 9 this week with Be Here, and Sugarland continues to climb to its highest position at No. 10 this week with Twice the Speed of Life.
