George Strait - 50 Number Ones

George Strait - 50 Number Ones

We have a new No. 1 this week with Phil Vassar's "In a Real Love" moving up from No. 3 to claim the top spot. Congrats to Phil. It's been four years since he had his first No. 1, which was "Just Another Day in Paradise." Moving down to No. 2 this week is "I Hate Everything" from George Strait. At No. 3 is Sara Evans with "Suds in the Bucket." At No. 4 is Brooks & Dunn's "That's What It's All About," and at No. 5 is the fun new song from Lonestar, "Mr. Mom," which moves up three spots from last week. If you haven't seen the animated video for this song yet, keep an eye out for it. It's really cute. "In a Real Love" has a bullet this week, but I think we'll have a new No. 1 next week. I have a feeling that the popularity of "Mr. Mom" will move it to the top next week, hopping over the other three songs in front of it.

We have two songs that are just flying up the charts. The first comes from Keith Urban, called "You're My Better Half," which moves up from its debut position at No. 50 to No. 33 this week. The second song is from Gretchen Wilson, called "When I Think About Cheatin'," which debuted last week at No. 49, and this week moves up to No. 35. Coming in third is one of my favorite new songs; "I May Hate Myself In The Morning" from Lee Ann Womack. What a refreshing change to hear real country again from her. It moves up from No. 50 to No. 41 this week.

We have new music this week from Craig Morgan. The song is called "That's What I Love About Sunday," and debuts at No. 52 this week. Julie Roberts releases "The Chance," which debuts at No. 58. New from Hank Williams Jr., is "The Devil in the Bottle," which debuts at No. 59.

On the album charts, George Strait makes it a third week with his 50 Number Ones. Debuting at No. 2 is Brooks & Dunn with Greatest Hits Vol. 2. Tim McGraw comes in at No. 3 with Live Like You Were Dyin'. At No. 4 is Rascal Flatts with Feels Like Today, and Gretchen Wilson comes in at No. 5 with Here For The Party.

The only other album debuting this week is Pat Green's Lucky Ones, at No. 6.

NOTE: All chart rankings are based on the song or album's position on the Billboard Hot Country Singles Chart or Billboard Country Albums Chart for November 6, 2004.
