From

Top 10 Country Singles
Billy Currington surprisingly captured the No. 1 spot this week with his song, "Must Be Doin' Somethin' Right." At least George Strait jumped five spaces to No. 2 with "She Let Herself Go" and Garth Brooks landed on No. 3 with "Good Ride Cowboy." No. 4 finds "Come A Little Closer" by Dierks Bentley. American Idol winner Carrie Underwood's song, "Jesus, Take The Wheel," jumps three spots to No. 5, Joe Nichols' "Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off" drops three spots to land at No. 6, while Kenny Chesney's "Who You'd Be Today" hits No. 7, and Trace Adkins' "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk" jumps two to No. 8. Toby Keith's "Big Blue Note" dropped to No. 9, and Little Big Town moves into the Top 10 with No. 10's "Boondocks." With Garth Brooks losing spins and Billy Currington and George Strait gaining, I will guess George will take over the top spot next week.

Moving Up at the Speed of Light
Jo Dee Messina's song, "I'm Not Going Down," jumped seven spots to No. 43, while LeAnn Rimes' Something's Gotta Give" hopped nine space landing on No. 44. The biggest song jump this week is by Kenny Rogers. His song, "I Can't Unlove You," went from No. 59 to No. 49 - a total of ten spots.

The Latest Tunes To Hit The Air Waves
There are two new songs debuting on the charts this week: No. 60's "Catfish Christmas" by Steve Azar and No. 58's "Blame The Vain," by Dwight Yoakam.

Top 10 Country Album Charts
The top four albums are exactly as they were last week: Carrie Underwood is still No. 1 with Some Hearts, Kenny Chesney hasn't moved as his album, The Road & The Radio, is still No. 2, The Legend Of Jonny Cash, by Johnny Cash, is No. 3, and Rascal Flatts' Feels Like Today is No. 4. No. 5 is Martina McBride's Timeless and Big & Rich are Comin' To Your City via their No. 6 position. Faith Hill drops two spots with No. 7's Fireflies. Keith Urban moves back into the Top 10 with No. 8's album, Be Here. Songs About Me, by Trace Adkins, jumps a single position to No. 9, and Reba McEntire's Reba: #1s is No. 10.

Albums Re-entering the Charts
Three albums re-entered the charts this week: Randy Travis' Passing Through at No. 75, Alan Jackson's What I Do at No. 74, and Randy Travis' The Very Best of Randy Travis at No. 72.

NOTE: All chart rankings are based on the song or album's position on the Billboard Hot Country Singles Chart or Billboard Country Albums Chart for December 31, 2005.
