SHeDAISY has formally announced its partnership with the American Red Cross. The partnership aims to raise awareness and funds to support active duty military personnel and their families as well as members of the National Guard and Reserves and their families through American Red Cross military support services.

Travis Tritt and Gretchen Wilson Collaborate In Florida
Travis Tritt shares the bill with rising star Gretchen Wilson this weekend, but the collaborative ties between the two artists go deeper than being booked for the same Jacksonville, FL concert.
Wilson will join Travis on stage during his set for a performance of the song Too Far To Turn Around from Tritt's acclaimed My Honky Tonk History album. The recording of the song, which Wilson co-wrote, features Wilson on backing vocals. Grant and Gills Christmas Show To Air for Troops in Baghdad
Amy Grant and Vince Gill's December 6 Christmas concert will be broadcast live to American troops in Baghdad and to US troops in 177 countries. The show will originate from the SBC Center in San Antonio, Texas, and be carried by the Armed Forces Radio Television Network. An added feature of the event will be a two-way audio/video hookup that will enable selected soldiers and their family members in the audience to see and talk to each other. This will mark the first time that such a face-to-face hookup has been arranged.
The San Antonio concert, which is the fourth stop on the 14-city "Simply Christmas With Amy Grant & Vince Gill" tour, will also be taped for re-broadcast December 6-12 to U.S. military forces elsewhere in the Middle East, Europe and the Pacific. Besides Grant and Gill, the tour features the Nashville Chamber Orchestra and comedian Henry Cho.

Legendary Texas troubadour Robert Earl Keen is currently in a Burbank studio with Grammy Award-winning engineer Ed Cherney (Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Bonnie Raitt, Buddy Guy) putting the finishing touches on what will be the 11th album of an impressive catalog of acclaimed work. Set for an early 2005 release, WHAT I REALLY MEAN features special guests Ray Price (vocals), Danny Barnes (banjo) and is sprinkled with a few unique touches (Gospel singers and Mariachi players among them).
As was the case with REK's critically acclaimed (Rolling Stone, Billboard, Paste) 2003 Koch Records debut, FARM FRESH ONIONS, the new project was recorded with his road band, enhancing the listening experience and capturing the excitement of a live performance. Rich Brotherton, who has been REK's lead guitarist for several years, produced the record, marking his second production effort for REK. Trace Adkins And Wife Welcome New Baby Girl
Country music star, Trace Adkins and wife, Rhonda received an early Christmas present today with the birth of their new baby girl. Trinity Lee Adkins was born at a Nashville hospital at 12:52 p.m., weighing in at 5 lbs 9oz. This is the couples third daughter --but its girl #5 for Trace, who has two teenage daughters from a previous marriage.
Adkins currently is sitting at a highly seasoned point in his career. Within the past 15 months alone, hes had three Gold albums back-to-back (two are headed to Platinum status) and four big hit singles. And while performing concerts for sell-out crowds much of the year takes him away from home more than hed like, he takes his fatherhood very seriously. "My children give me purpose and they make me want to be a better human being," says Adkins. "While it seems like its a job that has no end, its one of the most joyous elements to life."
Trace Adkins has been putting finishing touches on his seventh album for Capitol Records/Nashville. The yet-to-be titled project is scheduled for release in Spring 2005. The first single is called "Songs About Me" and hits Country radio December 13th.
