Michelle Branch and Jessica Harp, collectively known as The Wreckers skipped a few steps, and went to No. 1 with their very first single, "Leave the Pieces," and sold over 500,000 copies of their debut album, Stand Still, Look Pretty, giving them a Gold record right out of the chute. The song stayed at the top of the charts for two weeks.
