Most of the time, when you are a brand new artist, you may see some Top 20 songs from your first album, maybe sell 100,000 copies of the album, and by your second album, you may just be lucky enough to produce a No. 1 song. Michelle Branch and Jessica Harp, collectively known as The Wreckers skipped a few steps, and went to No. 1 with their very first single, "Leave the Pieces," and sold over 500,000 copies of their debut album, Stand Still, Look Pretty, giving them a Gold record right out of the chute. The song stayed at the top of the charts for two weeks.
