Heartland came out of nowhere with a single, "I Loved Her First," that touched the hearts of nearly everyone that heard it. It's no wonder that the song went all the way to the top of the charts, where it stayed for one week. The album of the same name debuted at No. 3 on the charts. With this No. 1 song, the group also gave their record label, Lofton Creek Records their first No. 1 as well.
