Chris Young has so many fans that he had to add a show to accommodate them all. In addition to his sold out Fan Club party June 9th there was a gathering of fans at Dave & Busters on Friday afternoon, June 8, 2007 at 4:30 p.m.

As you entered the hallway you were met with tables of items for silent auction to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Later in the evening a basket was passed for contributions to allow any who might want to give to this worthy cause Chris avidly supports. The auction raised $2,600 and $800 was collected in contributions - most impressive.

The delicious hors d'oeuvres at Dave and Busters included pizza bites, chicken strips, chips with a choice of salsa or queso, cheese & crackers, fruit & veggie trays and brownie bites for dessert.

Chris approached the stage in a casual manner, greeting his fans like family along the way. He was relaxed and comfortable, knowing he was among friends. He sang many fan favorites and even treated the crowd to a song his grandfather taught him.

Don Campbell took a turn on stage and shared some fun stories about Chris, praising him for his values and work ethic. Don, himself proved to be a delightful entertainer. He was later joined by his wife, Tonya Shevenell and percussionist Todd 'The Rocket' Richland.

Billy Yates had the audience hooting with laughter with his anecdotes and songs once he hit the stage. Chris wasn't about to let him have all the fun and returned to the stage for the end of the performance.

It's clear that Chris has won the hearts not only of his fans but also of those in the entertainment field with his sincerity, commitment and dedication. That, my friends, is quite an accomplishment!
