Keith Anderson's Fan Club Party was held at Rocketown on June 9th at 12:30 pm. There were 350 fans in attendance for the Keith Pizza party.

As we waited in line, question cards were handed out for anyone that wanted a question answered. His webmaster Amber J came by with a video recorder for anyone wanting to say something to Keith.

As we entered the door we were given a Keith Anderson tote bag and a silver sharpie with Keith Anderson Fan Club Member written on it. We took our seats and Keith took the stage.

Keith takes the stage

He told us that he had opened for Keith Urban in there before, and thought how cool would that be if he could fill the place like Keith Urban did and looking out he saw that he did it!

He started the show with "XXL" and "Lazy With Your Love," and in between songs he answered a few questions that were written on the cards. At one point he said this is the fifth "Will You Marry Me?" His answer was if we all move to Utah we might be able to work something out.

Some questions could not be answered because this Fan Club Party was being aired on XM radio.

He went on to tell us how Big and Rich called him to tell him they were recording one of his songs on their new album, and he asked which one, and they told him "Lost In this Moment," and he said that is funny so am I. He then played it for us. He also played "Three Chord Country," "Sunday Morning in America" "Everytime I Hear Your Name" and ended with "Pickin' Wildflowers."

The Fan Club President Johanna came on stage and had him draw some tickets for shirts and a pair of jeans, and then he was presented with a check to St. Jude. The fan club raised $1650 for St. Jude on his behalf. He was about to leave the stage when the Country Weekly photographer came on and made him come back on to take a picture of Keith with him fans behind him.

He thanked us all for coming and whipped off the bandanana for a few seconds and then put his hat back on. We lined up for the meet and greet and autograph with him, and he gave each and every one of us a hug, and spent a few minutes with each and every one of the 350 people that came through the line.

For those of you that could not make the fan club party, they will be re-airing the XM radio broadcast on XM radio on July 4th. Make sure you catch it. It is definitely a DO NOT MISS broadcast!
