There is something magical about the first time you see a talented artist perform. Steve Holy is truly one of the most appreciative,charming and amazing person you can hope to meet and support. His fan club party kicked off June 7th at 2pm at the Country Music Hall of Fame.
Before things got underway there were presentations from the Fan Club to Steve B, who is Holy's fan club president. There were lots of laughs as the newest member of the Holy band was revealed to be a motion sensored cutout of Elvis Presley.
The question and answer session consisted of many different things such as :
If he was to audition for American Idol at age 20 what would his audition song be?
"One Night With You"
What does Steve value most in his friends?
Loyalty, and true friendship.
His favorite performing experience?
The Jerry Lewis Telethon was his first performance of "Brand New Girlfriend" after it hit #1.
There were many more questions to be asked during this time and Steve answered them all with a smile and sometimes a laugh like when he was asked if he would ever pose for Playgirl.
Next came the meet & greet where I met Steve for the first time, and as I walked away to find my seat I was overwhelmed with how down to earth he is. He made a long lasting impression on the new members of the group.
Steve performed an entire set of his songs with the aid of an electric guitarist Steve, Acoustic guitarist Adam, Keyboardist Joel, and drummer Trey. The sound inside the Country Music Hall of Fame was amazing, and is a night worth remembering for all of the Holy fans that attended.
