Again, the instruments on the stage needed to be changed, but the time wasn't that long between the sets, and after a quick trip to the restroom, I came back to see they had added two giant globes on the right and left sides of the stage. Then, there were two sheets draped over the right and left portions of the stage in triangular shapes. The crowd was restless, and I could tell, there was gonna be a lot of standing to be done, if I wanted to see anything.

The first sounds were singing "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah" from various songs... like The Beatles, and a few other songs. I didn't write them all down, but soon the sheets went up and out came Jennifer and Kristian singing "Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah..." from "Twice the Speed of Light." The next song was "County Line," followed by "Want To."

The back wall had three circular screens which displayed Jennifer and Kristian, and sometimes they'd play parts of the videos for the songs they were singing.

One of my favorite moments was during "Settlin'" where towards the end of the song, Kristian and Jennifer each took one of those huge globes perched on the side of the stage, (They must have been about 6 ft in circumferance.) and lifted them over their heads, and the words "Change... Your... Mind..." appeared one at a time on the screens and on the balls as well, and then, they said "Change... The... then inside each globe was a photo of the earth as seen from space, while I believe the word "World" was flashed on the other screens behind them. Very cool!

Another favorite moment had to be Sugarland's cover of Beyonce's "Irreplaceable." They got the band all up to the front of the stage, Opry style. Very accoustic-like. What a cool song. I don't listen to anything other than country, so I didn't know what Beyonce's song sounded like, but I watched the video at YouTube.com and Sugarland's version was pretty similar in key, but had a more country flair to it. I really liked it.

Sugarland is working on their next album, and they played some tracks from it for us. One was called "Fall Into Me." They also did a melody of sorts with "Happy Ending," moving into "Where the Streets Have No Name," and then into "One Blue Sky."

Another fun part of the show was where Jennifer sang "Who Says You Can't Go Home," which she performed with Bon Jovi, with Kristian singing Jon Bon Jovi's parts. They sounded great. And during this, they showed local scenes of Reno on the screens behind them. What a neat touch that was.

The final three songs of the main show were "Everyday America," "Baby Girl," and "Something More." We knew there would be an encore, though, and of course there was.

But, instead of coming out with an upbeat number, Jennifer sang a glorious version of "Stay." After this, they said they couldn't leave without having the others come back for one more number, so they brought back Jake Owen and Little Big Town to perform the last song, "Pour Some Sugar on Me." I think this might have been where they shot off confetti into the crowd. I have some as a souvenir. It's orange and green.

Wow! What a show! For their first time as headliners, you'd never know it. They're naturals, and seem like they've been headlining for years. Loved each and every act that performed. What a great night!
