And Next Stop, Las Vegas
When I decided to go to two shows on the same tour, I thought perhaps there would be different songs in the different cities. I was wrong for the most part. Both Miranda and Tracy had the exact same set lists. The show was totally sold out and by the time Miranda hit the stage about 80% of the people had arrived, where in Sacramento, people probably didn't arrive until her set was nearly over.

I thought the energy was higher in Vegas, and the sound was definitely louder. Our seats were about 25-30 ft further away, however we didn't have the camera boom in all our camera shots of the stage, so that was a plus. Once again, we had Meet & Greet passes to meet with Miranda, and really enjoyed seeing her again. We also saw her dad and some other relatives of hers backstage. I wore my new Miranda Tour t-shirt to Vegas, which featured front and back shots from her performance of "Kerosene" on the CMA Awards show.

Miranda wore a hot pink tank with a skull on it and jeans and matching pink boots. Tracy wore a khaki colored long sleeve shirt, jeans and his black cowboy hat. And the funniest thing was that George had the same yellow shirt with blue plaid check. I thought, boy, doesn't he have more than one shirt? ;D

During George's set, he sang all the same songs, but the order was different. There was wild applause during "She Let Herself Go" during the part where he sings "to Vegas once..." which I knew would be popular there.

All in all, I had a great time following the tour. There wasn't much difference between the shows, other than the mixed set list in George's set, but no matter what, they were all great.

I know some artists perform different shows in every city. Trace Adkins, for one, I know never sings the same things in the same order in any city. Next month, Dianne and I will be seeing him in Kelseyville one night, then five nights later will see him again in Oroville. Looking forward to that!

Everyone that likes country music should make it a point to attend at least ONE George Strait show in their lifetime. They don't call him the King for nothing. Sure, he just stands there, but he has so many great songs that it doesn't matter. You are thoroughly entertained.

Both Miranda and Tracy are great performers in their own right, and I really enjoyed their shows as well. Great ticket, and great price!
