Each year thousands of fans attend festivals all across the country, taking in the sunshine (and rain), and great country music. Festivals are a great way to get a major dose of music for a modest (compared to seeing the artists individually on separate tours) price.

Planning a trip to Nashville for the CMA Music Festival can be a daunting task. I've created a free email course to help you do this, but having planned my own trip for the first time I realized a few things that I wish I had done differently. So, consider this an addendum to the email course.
Two festivals are held here. One in the Spring on May 14th and 15th, and one in the Fall on October 8th and 9th. The bands currently booked for the Spring festival are: Nuthin’ Fancy, Out of the Blue, Williams and Clark Expedition, Hurricane Creek, Claire Lynch, and Eastwind Bluegrass Band.
Festival is not strictly bluegrass, but many bluegrass artists have played it in the past. The date for 2004 is September 15-19. Performers haven't been announced yet, so check the site again later for updates.

Performers this year are Merle Haggard, Reba McEntire, Buddy Jewell, Montgomery Gentry, Neal McCoy, Randy Travis, Charlie Daniels, Chris LeDoux, Jo Dee Messina, Oak Ridge Boys, Diamond Rio, Billy Ray Cyrus, Bering Strait and Buck Owens.
This festival takes place from July 23rd - August 1st in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Stars appearing include George Strait, ZZ Top, Brad Paisley, Chris Cagle, Keith Urban, Trick Pony, and Kenny Chesney.
