CMA Music Festival 2007 officially runs from June 7 - 10, 2007. But, there are many other events happening during the week, starting with Monday, June 4th, so it's good to plan to arrive a little early, to catch some of the other things going on around town.
Opry Shows
There are several Opry Shows available to attend during CMA Week.
Shows are Tuesday night, Friday, and Saturday night. Plus, there is a Saturday matinee at the Ryman. The other shows are at the Opryhouse, near Opryland.

There is also a special Gospel Show at the Ryman on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 pm.
Celebrity Softball Challenge
This year will be the 17th year for the Lynnco Custom Cycles Celebrity Softball Challenge. Stars step up to the plate to raise money for City of Hope, a leading research and treatment center for cancer, diabetes and other life-threatening diseases. The game starts at 1:00 pm on Thursday, June 7, 2007 at Greer Stadium.
A full list of celebrities participating is unknown at this time, but Carrie Underwood, Vince Gill, Craig Morgan and Rodney Atkins are the first stars announced as participating.

- IFCO Fun Fest - Starring Joe Diffie, with Trick Pony, Aaron Tippin, Lady Antebellum, Gary Mule Deer, Todd Fritsch, Carly Goodwin, Ty Herndon, John Stone, Two Foot Fred, Billy Yates, and Chris Young. 7:30 pm on Monday, June 4, 2007 at the Ryman.
- Jason Aldean's Concert for the Cure - Starring Jason Aldean, and special guests. Friday, June 8, 2007 at the Wildhorse Saloon at 9:00 pm.
- Hard Rock Writer's Nights - Starting at 11:30 pm, the shows will feature some of Nashville's most successful tunesmiths in the round – trading stories and playing the songs that made several artists household names. Tickets are $15.00 plus handling fees.

CMA Celebrity Closeup
There will be two sessions of the CMA Celebrity Closeup series, hosted by Lorianne Crook. The first will last from 1:30 pm - 3:15 pm, and the second 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm, both on Thursday, June 7, 2007. Tickets are $12.00 in advance, or $17.00 at the door.
