Each December the Rodeo holds their National Finals event in Las Vegas. In 2004, the Rodeo runs from December 3 - 12. During this time, not only will you see hats and boots everywhere, you'll also find lots of great country concerts to attend.

I have gone the past 4 years and it's great fun. Plus, you can do your Christmas shopping at the Cowboy Christmas Gift Show, held at the Convention Center. The show runs from December 2nd - 11, 2004, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm daily. Admission is free.

Many of the hotels book up fast, so now is the time to be booking your trip. I've listed the country acts that are playing, along with any ticket information I've found, along with a link to buy tickets online, or a toll-free phone number to call for tickets. To get venue information, click on the link with the venue's name. If tickets can be purchased online, I've linked them on the date for the corresponding artist.

The first shows are free and located downtown at the Fremont Street Experience The shows are located on two stages set up at 1st St, and 3rd St. On the 1st Street Stage from 9:00 - 11:00 pm is Mark Chesnutt. On the 3rd Street Stage from 9:00 - 11:00 pm is the Honky Tonk Tailgate Party. The Honky Tonk Tailgate Party consists of Rhett Akins, Chad Brock, David Kersh and Daryle Singletary.
