Country Music Single Releases - Week of September 18, 2006

What to listen for on country radio

From Shelly Fabian, About.com Guide

Trace Adkins - Dangerous Man

Trace Adkins - Dangerous Man

Capitol Nashville

Trace Adkins - "Ladies Love Country Boys"
I've always liked Trace but have gotten bored with his string of ditties. Sure his songs tend to become hits and are fun once in a while but constant repetition of songs like "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk" isn't my thing. The second single from Trace's new Dangerous Man CD, this one's gonna be a big hit and is a nice return to the Trace I really like to hear.

Rodney Atkins - "Watching You"
I loved Rodney's first CD, and I really like his new one. After reaching the top of the charts with "If You're Going Through Hell," (both song and album), Rodney's on a hot streak and this fun song is sure to make its way up the charts. Some may even like this family oriented song more than the last single. Rodney looks as if he's on his way to becoming a big star.

Kellie Pickler - "Red High Heels"
One of the top finalists from American Idol 2006, Kellie's follwed Carrie Underwood's footsteps to Nashville, and with more songs like this fun, personality-driven song about shoes (which Kellie co-wrote), Miss Pickler is bound to become a superstar. This one has the sound of a big hit.
