Reba McEntire - "The Only Promise That Remains"
I was blown away by Reba's last single ("Because Of You") and thought she sounded amazing with Kelly Clarkson, so I wasn't too sure what I would think about a duet with Justin Timberlake. Not only does he sound perfect (yes, perfect!) singing background vocals with her, but I would never have guessed that he also wrote the song just for Reba. There's a simple arrangement and just the right tinge of bluegrass. A completely opposite sound to the dramatic first single.
Toby Keith - "Get My Drink On"
I'm highly impressed with Toby's new single. It's very upbeat and country-sounding, making you want to get up and move. I say this one's a winner in my book and will do well at radio!
Jack Ingram - "Maybe She'll Get Lonely"
Jack has been releasing some cool singles lately and that trend continues with "Maybe She'll Get Lonely." It's nice knowing one of the good guys from Texas is making it big. Listen
Cole Deggs & The Lonesome - "Girl Next Door"
It's about time Cole Deggs & The Lonesome released a new single! I've missed hearing them on radio, so I'm glad they're back. Not only is the music great in this one, but Cole's voice really stands out. That's always a good thing. Listen
Josh Gracin - "We Weren't Crazy"
A good, solid song from Josh Gracin. It's also lyrically appealing to many people because they can relate to the subject matter (a couple who kept going strong despite other people's objections). That's always a great thing for a song to have. Listen
Jamie Lee Thurston - "Dear God"
This is a really great traditional country sounding song about a man who hasn't prayed for some time, but now he finds himself down on his knees asking for help. We may stray from the straight and narrow, but it's important to find your way back. Hope this song has a chance with radio stations. Listen
