Jason Michael Carroll - "I Can Sleep When I'm Dead"
Now that listeners have been able to get a feel for Jason's slower songs, it's time to have some fun! "I Can Sleep When I'm Dead" will be hard for radio to ignore, so be prepared to hear it when you tune in to your favorite station.
Sarah Johns - "He Hates Me"
Sarah Johns is a wonderful artist with a traditional sound that radio should be all over. Maybe with this fun single, they'll wisen up and realize how she could easily be the next big thing. Listen
Miranda Lambert - "Gunpowder & Lead"
Miranda's back with a bang with her new single, "Gunpowder & Lead." I just love the fact she's not afraid to sing songs full of attitude and ones with a non-pc message just because she's female. She can get right out there with any guy and be just as tough as the rest of them. Listen
Trace Adkins - "You're Gonna Miss This"
This is the type of Trace Adkins song I like. It's slow and gives you something to think about instead of having nonsensical lyrics. Everyone can relate to this, because who in their life hasn't wanted to hurry and grow up instead of taking the time to slow down and enjoy the days they are living in the present. People tell you to take things one day at a time when you are younger and it's only when you are older that you realize they were right. Listen
Carter's Chord - "Young Love"
Carter's Chord is the latest artist to come out of Toby Keith's Show Dog Nashville label. I'm impressed by this song telling the story of whistful "Young Love." The sound is familiar, yet fresh at the very same time. Meaning the trio will have a good chance of standing out in the crowd. Listen
Jypsi - "I Don't Love You Like That"
This is Jypsi's second single. Their first, "Love Is A Drug," was nice, but this one seems to be more radio-friendly. It also has such a cool vibe that's undeniable from the first listen. I can see exciting things in the future when it comes to these four siblings. Listen
Rockie Lynne - "I Can't Believe It's Me"
Rockie has a wonderful voice and it is hard for me to understand why he isn't all over the radio. Especially with songs like this one, which is about a man who can't believe how wonderful his life has been from marriage to the birth of his son and beyond. Listen
James Otto - "I Just Got Started Loving You"
A fantastic song I can't stop re-playing. James' vocals are soulful which go perfectly with such an intimate sound and lyrics. When you listen to him sing this song, chances are you'll feel he is singing directly to you. Listen
Phil Stacey - If You Didn't Love Me"
This is a good "Pop" Country song written by Wendell Mobley, Jason Sellers, and Rascal Flatts' Gary LeVox. It's very solid and the former American Idol contestant's vocals seem perfectly suited for it. I don't see any reason why this song can't become a hit on radio and I'm curious as to what will be on his upcoming album.
