Lonestar - "Let Me Love You"
Lonestar has always been one of my favorite groups. With new lead singer Cody Collins, the band has a new sound. It's not drastically different, and this song is similar in sound to the old country pop style we love with Lonestar. It's a nice mid-tempo tune that I think fans will enjoy this spring. I hope radio will pick it up, and hope it will do well. If you listen all the way through "Let Me Love You," the next song, "The Future" is even better. Indeed, I think the future is looking bright for Lonestar. Listen
Shooter Jennings - "This Ol' Wheel"
Well, if you're looking for a fun little country tune, this ain't it. At least not in my opinion. The verses are spoken, and there's lots of screaming guitars. Seems very rock to me. He's singing "This wheel keeps on rollin' down the road." But, honestly, it's hard to really make out much of the lyrics, cuz he speaks them so fast. Listen
