I Play Chicken With The Train
Troy Coleman, John Rich, Angie Aparo
Angie came out to a show on the McGraw tour. There's a set of train tracks across the street from the arena. John and Angie were just walking on them working on a song idea and that just popped out. He started playing it for me and singing the chorus and me and Angie are laughing. It's kind of a tongue in cheek way to poke fun at myself for trying to do something so radical. The train is the music industry and I'm kind of hoping that the light at the end of the tunnel isn't the 5:15.

Crick In My Neck
Troy Coleman, John Rich
Sleeping in a bus bunk, big is I am, isn't easy. One morning John and I were sitting in the front lounge of the bus watching TV, I was like, "Man, my neck is stiff. Slept wrong and got a crick in my neck." We just looked at each other and he was like, "Mmm-hmm got a crick in my neck." The first verse is a true story about going to a club with my wife back when we were still engaged. She went to the restroom and my buddy and I are looking up at this girl dancing. My wife comes back and starts rubbing my neck like, "You okay?"

Ain't Broke Yet
Troy Coleman, John Rich, Kenny Alphin
True-life experience for me. It's a revision of something I did on Hick Hop Hysteria called "Sho Nuff." I literally got a call at the office from some lady asking for me. I thought, did I give some girl my number at a club? She's like, "We're calling about your delinquent account." On the way home I came up with the lyrics. I've lived all that stuff.

If You Don't Wanna Love Me
Troy Coleman, John Rich
We were in Boston, running around crazy trying to get ready for the show. John pulls me aside and sings the chorus. He says, "That's something you need to write a rap for." I just based it on experiences people I know have had. The idea of your child running away just struck me as one of the worst things a parent could face. That's Sarah Buxton on vocals. She's a friend from the MuzikMafia.

My Last Yee Haw
Troy Coleman, John Rich, Kenny Alphin
Most people have no idea when their time is up. I was kind of wondering what I would do if I knew. You'd just give it everything you got. This is about fun, plain and simple.

El Tejano
Troy Coleman, John Rich
We re-worked a song called "El Vaquero" from the Beginner's Luck CD. Originally written in 2001. My parents put me in Spanish lessons at the age of nine, so rapping in Spanish is just a natural progression. It's a shout out to my buddies back in Dallas.
