As the week was coming to a close, our last luncheon was to begin shortly. The line waiting to get in wasn't as packed as it usually is but it seemed as though they were a lot more attendees at today's show. Our meal was just as elegant as the others previously and we were treated to a delicious meat lasagna or a vegetable lasagna depending on what you preferred. The catering staff was very attentive as they had been all week.

Capitol's CEO, Mike Dungan introduced our first performer, Luke Bryan and claimed they had their own "Elvis" in Luke. So expecting a lot from this performer, we were not disappointed. Luke is as country sweet as you can get. Singer/Songwriter, guitar player and already having the ability to command your attention, he took the stage performing "Country Man." With a VERY catchy melody and lyrics to match, I found myself humming this song the rest of the day. Anyone that can wrestle hogs and gators can sing, "Hey Baby I'm a country man." all day long. His five song set included "Baby's On The Way," a very tender ballad called, I think, "My Sweetest Dream," and then he got down to some serious Country with "We Rode In Trucks." A great song that details his child hood and reminded me of some of the same things I did as a kid.

Luke was really a nice surprise. Music really did seem to be his passion and it showed. He ended his set with what is the first single of his yet to be determined who, what, when and where album due to be released sometime soon I hope, "All My Friends Say." Yet another really catchy song that describes who Luke really is.

Next up was the incredibly under rated Trace Adkins. Tall as he is handsome and as talented as the day is long, Trace belted out one hit song after another beginning with his current #1 single, "Ladies Love Country Boys." Being a lady myself, what's not to love having such country boy talent performing his heart out in his own laid back style.

Trace went on to perform "Ain’t No Woman Like You," "I Wanna Feel Something" and one tear jerker of a ballad, "I Came Here to Live."

The show couldn't end without Trace singing that ever-catchy song everyone was waiting for, "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk." The audience rewarded Trace with some very thankful and much appreciated applause and Trace had once again, got that cotton pickin' song stuck in our heads for hours after the show. It was a great way to close his set and for now and on that note, I guess I will "Eww Wee, shut my mouth."
