Chris Young's Fan Club Party was held at "Two Doors Down" on Thursday night (June 10th). What charisma this gentleman has, with his soft baritone voice Chris had the attention of everyone in his Fan Club Party.
Chris was releasing his second CD during Fan Fair which, is called "I Wish I Was Lying." He wrote every song on this album except for one, "Hell No, Heaven Yes." And what a performance he gave singing it. He had a few friends enjoying his set that he dedicated a song to called "Smokin Grass." He also played a few songs from his first CD. "Only If You Want To" was one of my favorites. He also sang a song that he wrote and dedicated to his dad called "He's My Dad."
I also had the chance to chat with Chris a few times in his Fan Club booth at the convention center, which was pretty busy most of the time. He's really enjoying what he's doing and ready to hit the road. I believe he has a bright future ahead of him because of his passion for music and I can't wait to see him perform again, he just lights up a room.\
Having already fulfilled one dream, being on stage and singing at the Grand Ole Opry, Chris is ready to fulfill many more dreams. Look for Chris and his natural talent if you live in the Nashville area in some of hottest places like, The Bluebird Café and Tin Pan South, also in coffee houses like The Boardwalk Café.
