Blake Shelton's Fan Club Party was held at the Wildhorse Saloon on Wednesday, June 8th at 7:00 AM. A few minutes after 6:00 AM there was already an impressive line waiting to get in to claim the best seats as it was general admission.

When the doors opened each attendee was given a personally autographed photo of Blake and a souvenier glass engraved with party date, time and place and which contained "blakenuts" and a BSer's pen.

Meeting Blake

First on the agenda was the meet and greet. Party goers met and had a photo taken with Blake and then went through the plentiful breakfast buffet of sausage, eggs, toast, fruit, bacon, and coffee.

When all had their meet and greet and breakfast, the fans presented Blake with a gift. Four groups of fans read a poem to give Blake a hint of what was to come, and the had him open a huge box, which contained two "It's A Boy" baloons. At this point a video of his gift was shown on the screen -- two of the cutest miniature donkeys you ever saw, named "Outlaw" and "Spark Plug!" Blake was somewhat surprised but told the audience "Y'all can't keep a secret!" Seems he had heard something about this surprise when he was in Florida but discounted it as impossible.

He then did an acoustic set (using the guitar that the fans gave him last year) and asked for requests. He sang:

  1. "The Snake Song"
  2. "All Over Me"
  3. "Some Beach"
  4. "Austin"
  5. "Nobody But Me"
  6. "Goodbye Time"
  7. "Ol' Red"

Door prizes awarded There was time planned after the show for fans to mingle before they went on their way, but first there were several door prizes -- longest fan club member, youngest fan club member, fan who traveled the farthest, first in line and newest fan club member. There were also several random drawings for coveted Blake merchandise.

This was a very well planned and organized party and all went on scheduled.
