It was FIESTA at Wolfy's Den (did I spell that right?) on the 3rd floor of the Gaylord. June 10th is a date that john Arthur fan club members (the jAmily) will remember for a long time. The Fan Club Party and jAm's birthday celebration.
The room was colorfully decorated by jAmfanpres and her crew and reflected the spirit of the event....Fiesta Time. The food followed the same theme. Fajitas and were they delicious!
Along with the john Arthur Fan Club group and invited guest, Tasha Valentine, Chris Young, Jayron Weaver, Robert K. Oermann dropped by the Fiesta.
Chris Young and Jayron Weaver shared their gift of music with us, while we waited for john Arthur to arrive.
John Arthur's flight was running late, but at last he arrived and the party really heated up. He rocked the house with The Armadillo Song..and with each song the Fiesta just got better and better. Believe me, when I say that everyone there enjoyed the music, visiting with him and his quick wit.
Each fan club member got to have a meet/greet, have articles signed, and a picture taken with him. He put everyone at ease and what a special time to have with the artist.
Each fan club member received a gift bag containing some really fun items. A chili pepper necklace, scarf, assorted pens and various fiesta type goodies.
Before the Fiesta was over, john Arthur was surprised with a birthday cake and the happy birthday song, sung slightly off key, by the folks at the party. The jAmily gave him a sterling silver engraved frame, golf shirts and, wow, there was cash left over to go into the card. Hopefully he will be able to find some time in his busy schedule to enjoy a few rounds of golf wearing his new shirts.
Many caring and loving hands were responsible for the success of this fun party. Thank you john Arthur, Glen, Bette and crew. This is a FIESTA to be remembered.
