Joe Nichols delivers an amusing and entertaining performance at his fan club party on June 6th at the Factory in Franklin, TN. Joe Nichols' fans started gathering and socializing outside the Factory at 5:00 p.m. Many of the fans were meeting each other in person for the first time while others were meeting old friends from previous Nichols' fan club parties.
As the doors of the Factory opened and the fans entered, they were presented with a Joe Nichols wrist bracelet and served pizza, mostaccioli, salad and brownies.
Fans cheered and applauded as Joe Nichols was introduced. Mr. Nichols came on stage and explained his film clip medley introduction is a combination of sound clips from his favorite movies and he challenged his fans to try to pick out a few as they listened. He left the stage as the medley roared loudly from the stage speakers. The film medley consisted of clips from Ferris Bueller's Day Off, American Pie and Austin Powers to name a few. Joe reappeared on stage as the medley ended and his band broke into Nichols No. 1 single, "Brokenheartsville."
The evening consisted of questions, song requests, funny Joe Nichols stories and other amusing requests, such as touching Joe's hair in between Nichols' song performance. Nichols showed off his quick wit and sense of humor when posed with challenging questions and funny stories.
Nichols' set included: "Brokenheartsville," "No Time to Cry," "Just a Little More," "She Only Smokes When She Drinks," "If I Ever Get Her Back," "It's Your Love" (Tim McGraw/Faith Hill duet with Brian), "Sweet Home Alabama," "Family Tradition," "Size Matters (Someday)," "My Old Friend the Blues," "Joe's Place," "What's A Gotta Do," and "Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off."
Members of Joe's Fan Club presented him with his first Fan Club Gift, a white gold necklace in the shape of a Patron bottle with a diamond in the 'o' on a leather chain to celebrate Joe's newest No. 1 single "Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off" being certified gold. The fan club also purchased matching silver Patron necklaces for Joe's band and road manager, as well as flowers and gift certificates for other members of Joe's road staff. Joe was also presented with a fan scrapbook and several other gifts, such as a Cardinal jersey and a set of golf balls during his Meet & Greet session with 300 of his fans that were in attendance.
