The Grand Ole Opry Trust Fund Benefit show opened with Steve Warner playing "Burning the Road House Down." Warner explained the first time he performed at the Grand Ole Opry he played with Dottie West. He included "Holes in the Floor of Heaven" as a tribute to Chet Atkins, who he regards as the greatest guitar player of all time.

Joe Nichols performed four songs, "Size Matters (Someday", "The Palm of Your Hand," which he performed as a tribute to Buck Owens, "I'll Wait For You" and "Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off." Nichols' deep baritone voice and his emotional facial expressions touched the crowd, bringing many in the audience to tears during his heart-felt rendition of his newest single, "I'll Wait for You." Nichols' admitted he cried the first time he heard the song.

Wynonna started her song set with "Tell Me Why." then announced that she has been performing for 23 years and recommended everyone celebrate who they are and to remember music is healing, then she launched into "I Want To Know What Love Is" and her hit "No Where Else On Earth."

Jack Greene and the Jolly Green Giants band performed a medley of their three No. 1 songs: "All the Time," "There Goes My Everything," and "Somewhere."

Best new male vocalist of the year, Jason Aldean performed the song, "Amarillo Sky," which is his next single. In addition, Aldean performed his number one single, "Why" and his first song, "Hicktown."

Joe Diffie performed his hits, "Third Rock From The Sun", "Pick Up Man" and "John Deere Green." Grand Ole Opry veteran, Jim Ed Brown followed Diffie with his 1950's hit "Pop a Top." Catherine Britt performed "Tiger by the Tail," a second tribute of the evening to Buck Owens.

The Benefit show closed with Tracy Byrd performing his new single "Cheapest Motel" scheduled for release on June 19th. In addition, Byrd performed "Cowboy And A Dancer," and "Hot Night In The Country."

The evenings performing artists volunteered their time and talent in support of the Grand Ole Opry Trust Benefit. The Trust fund is used to assist artists and their families during times of need such as illness.
