Buddy Jewell

AboutCountry: How old were you when you decided singing was something you loved and wanted to make it your career?

Buddy Jewell: Early twenties.

AboutCountry: What quality do you admire most in a person?

Buddy Jewell: Good sense of humor...If you don't have one, you need to get one quick!!

AboutCountry: Is there any one or more specific type of songs that you refuse to record? (such as drinking or cheating songs?)

Buddy Jewell: It depends on what they song has to say...For example, I don't deny that I've had problems with alcohol and drugs in the past, so I'd prefer not to do anything that "glorifies" that lifestyle.

AboutCountry: What person (other than diety) has had the greatest influence on your life?

Buddy Jewell: My wife.

AboutCountry: Out of all the songs you have recorded, what is your favorite?

Buddy Jewell: Not a fair question...Can't be answered, although judging From the way it affected people, I'd have to say that "Help Pour Out the Rain" is somewhere close to the top.

AboutCountry: What song would you most like to be able to say that you had written?

Buddy Jewell: "White Christmas" It's one of the most recorded songs in history!! LOL

AboutCountry: What was your most embarrassing moment on stage?

Buddy Jewell: Anytime I'm on stage there is always that potential for me to do or say something stupid...recently, I was introducimg my band during a show and I forgot my guitar player, Kevin Collier's last name!! LOL

AboutCountry: If you could meet any person, living or dead, who would it be?

Buddy Jewell: John Wayne.

AboutCountry: What is your favorite non country song?

Buddy Jewell: Don't know, probably "Please Come to Boston" or "Turn the Page."

AboutCountry: Do you think it woud work as a country song?

Buddy Jewell: It has so far!! LOL

AboutCountry: Would you consider covering a pop/rock song if it fit your voice and style?

Buddy Jewell: Sure.

AboutCountry: What would you like to say to all your fans reading this?

Buddy Jewell: It's 4:10 am....I'm really sleepy now!! LOL Seriously, thank you all for making my dreams come true...I wouldn't be here without you and your unbelievable support. I love you all!!
