HostUrbangirl: It's a cool video. I read last year during the CMA Music Festival that you guys got your little booth and went and there was no line and you felt stupid standing there and I know for a fact that didn't last long cause I was there I think for an hour and a half waiting in line.

Brady: Yeah that was like when we first got there I think Trey was, you know we were all just kinda sitting there wasn't like nobody up in our line.

Keith: Dierks Bentley's beside us and has this big line and we're just standing there and Trey says, "I know what it feels like to feel stupid and this is one of them.

HostUrbangirl: That didn't last long though.

Trey: It's just took one person though.

Keith: Yeah one person who saw the video and like before you knew it people were lined up.

HostUrbangirl: Well I caught you guys right at the end you were over, up in the corner at first and I caught you and you were gracious enough to pose for some photo's I was standing there and then we moved, you moved somewhere in the middle, I have no clue where you were but...

Brady: Yeah! This year we're gonna have our own booth which uh, you know we didn't the first year round we just went to CMT's booth, CMA's booth, GAC's booth and so on and so forth. But this year we are gonna have a designated Hot Apple Pie booth so uh, come by and visit us again!

HostUrbangirl: Oh I will, definitely, absolutely! You keep an up to date journal on the website.

Brady: Uh huh!

HostUrbangirl: Which the fans appreciate. I can tell you as a fan, that keeps us close to you guys.

Brady: Yeah, yeah.

HostUrbangirl: Do you keep your own personal journal, where did the idea come from to do that?

Brady: Well, you know I think uh, actually the first question, I mean that's pretty much my journal you know, I don't really have enough time to like write another journal um, because we are so busy doing radio or you know, gearing up for a show or just being out on the road in general sometimes it's just, you know, it's hard enough but um. And then the other question was, um, do I keep my own and then, there was a second part to the question.

HostUrbangirl: Yeah there was, where'd it go?

Brady: Now I forget what it was. Sorry. Um, Do ya'll remember?

Keith: No. I just remember, do you keep your own journal.

Brady: Do I keep my own journal, NO! **lot's of laughter**

Keith: (Laughing) That's it!

HostUrbangirl: Now it came to me and it's gone again!

Brady: That's all right!

HostUrbangirl: Oh geez, we'll edit that out!

Hot Apple Pie: Yeah! **Laughter from all** It escapes me before I get a chance to say it.

HostUrbangirl: Willie Nelson appeared on this album, song - "Slowin' Down the Fall," what was it like working with him?

Keith: Uh, It was just incredible. For me it was just like uh, standing in a meet and greet line to see a star. That's the reason I went. I just wanted to go shake his hand and say I saw him you know what I mean? It was amazing!

Brady: It was a very spur of the moment thing. We didn't know he was gonna show up really you know, we'd put the word out um, through the president of the label and then another friend of mine that worked over at ASCAP who hangs out with Willie a lot when he comes into town. And you know, we kept on saying it'd be great if we could get Willie to come over and blah, blah, blah and you know the president of the label calls us and said alright, have the studio ready just in case, at six thirty. Well, at uh, 5:45 we got a call saying, from Willie's road manager saying that it looks like that Willie's not going to be able to come by, he's running late, um, don't count on it, but don't count it out just yet, give us another 15 minutes or so. Well, and we're like aw man we're shuttin the stuff down, dimming the lights a little bit, we're like aw man, Willie's not gonna show up. Well, sure enough, like five minutes before you know, he was supposed to be there, the call comes, Willie's coming. And we're like alright you know. So we turn the lights back on we're gettin everything ready and we're scramblin at this point and sure enough, he walks in ya know, the back door with Hurky, the guy that's a friend of mine over at ASCAP. Willie had been recording with George Jones for the Highwaymen record that's getting ready to come out, I guess. And uh, Willie came in and goes, "Hey Boys," he said um, "I just stepped out the back from George Jones's session over there, I hope he don't mind." And uh, you know we were like, wow, this is so cool you know. He's gonna, he's stepped out of a session with George Jones to come and sing on our record. And uh, he went in there and uh, just nailed it couple, couple times through and uh, it was just a great pleasure and a very big honor for us.
