AboutCountry: What was it like shooting your first music video?
Jason Aldean: "It was an awesome experience. I really didn't know what to expect. It was hard to tell from what was shot, what the video was going to look like. But in the end, I loved the way the music video turned out. It was a really cool experience."
AboutCountry: What's the hardest part about being on the road for you?
Jason Aldean: "I have to say that the most difficult part of being on the road for me is missing my wife and little girl. I definitely keep the phone company in business!"
AboutCountry: Who is your dream duet partner?
Jason Aldean: "I would love to do something with Alabama."
AboutCountry: What song do you most like singing and why?
Jason Aldean: "That's a really hard choice, but one of my favorite songs on the album is "Why," and I enjoy singing it live."
AboutCountry: What has been the most exciting moment of your career, so far?
Jason Aldean: "Wow, it's really difficult to choose one single moment, but I guess I would say the most exciting moment of my music career so far would be between playing the Grand Ole Opry for the first time and receiving my first Gold album. A lot of exciting moments have happened and I'm very appreciative of each one."
AboutCountry: How do you come up for your ideas for your songs?
Jason Aldean: "The way that I come up with ideas for songs is that I simply write about things that have happened to me in the past and things that are happening to me right now. Everything I write about comes from a real life experience."
AboutCountry: Where do you see yourself in your career in 10 years?
Jason Aldean: "That's really hard to say. I'm hoping to have a career that will put food on the table, feed my family and please my friends."
AboutCountry: How many songs did you go through to get the ones for your CD?
Jason Aldean: "Literally, I listened to hundreds of songs to find them."
AboutCountry: When they look back on your life in 50 years, what do you hope people will say about you?
Jason Aldean: "When I look back on my life in 50 years, I hope people will say that I was a nice, fun, energetic entertainer that contributed something to the growth of country music."
AboutCountry: What would you like to say to the fans reading this interview?
Jason Aldean: "Thanks to all of the fans because it is due to their dedication to country music that I am able to make a living doing what I love to do the most. Come out and party with us at a show. I can promise you that you will get your money's worth!"
