HostUrbangirl: I'm with About.com and thanks for meeting with us!

Miranda Lambert: No problem.

HostUrbangirl: I just have a few questions for you. What was it like touring with George Strait?

Miranda Lambert: It was great. It's been awesome. George is like, his whole deal is, it's like a family. I mean everyone that works for George has been there for 25 years you know so we learn a lot from him and how he runs his stuff and the stage at first was weird because it's in the round. So I'd never done a stage that's completely round and you have to go to all four sides during the shows so it took me a while to get used to it but we're doing really good right now.

HostUrbangirl: That was my next question, if you had picked up any new idea's or anything performing with him.

Miranda Lambert: Yeah! We've learned alot about like how to run a really tight ship.

HostUrbangirl: Well I know your parents were really active in your career in the beginning getting you started and stuff. Do they remain active touring with you?

Miranda Lambert: Oh yeah! My dad is on the road with us, he does merchandise. My mom is my Fan Club President and my little brother runs my website so we've got, I mean it's all in the family right now.

HostUrbangirl: Wow! Does that leave much time for you guys to spend together?

Miranda Lambert: Well, whenever I do get off work and I do get to go home that's where I am, usually spending time with my family.

HostUrbangirl: Do you have a special place that you like to go write?

Miranda Lambert: Um, at home. I like to write at home. Home is kinda where I can get away from the work part of it and just like put myself in a different place.

HostUrbangirl: Do you have like a certain room that you go to or do you like to be outside when you write, what inspires you the most?

Miranda Lambert: No, actually my house is pretty small. It's on 26 acres next to my parents house. Just sittin' out on my porch sometimes and think of songs or just sittin in my house on the couch ya know, light some candles and relax.

HostUrbangirl: Any one thing inspire you?

Miranda Lambert: No, you know, listening to good music inspires me though to write you know, when I listen to good stuff.

HostUrbangirl: Any song that you wish you would have written?

Miranda Lambert: I wish I would have written "Angel From Montgomery." It's a John Klein song and I do it in my shows. It's just it's a beautiful song and there's lot's of songs I wish I would have written but that one sticks out.

HostUrbangirl: Of the songs you've written, which one is your favorite?

Miranda Lambert: Probably "Love's Looking For You." It's on my record and I just wrote it by myself and I wrote it for, I was really in the place that it really came from my heart when I wrote it.
