Lynn Anderson is once again honored with not only a 2004 Grammy Nomination for “Best Bluegrass Album”, but her country hit “Rocky Top” is now an official hot air balloon at the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta.

The 2004 event featured Lynn Anderson singing “Rocky Top” as the balloon inflated and flew away. “I autographed the balloon, and I will have it with me at certain concerts during the 2005 tour,” Ms. Anderson comments.

The Fiesta held September 30th through October 9th, 2005 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is an annual event drawing approximately 100,000 spectators every year.

Ms. Anderson continues to receive praise on her original version of “Rocky Top” as well as the new bluegrass version of the hit, and she is humbled by both the Grammy Nomination and the “Rocky Top” tribute.
