We go backstage with Cledus T. Judd talking to Jayron.

Cledus: "Alright, thanks a lot Sara. Now, I'm here with Jayron. Now, Jayron, we're seven weeks deep into this thing. Do you feel like you're finally starting to loosen up a little bit and get into it?"
Jayron: "Oh, definitely. I mean, I think I've come a long way."
Cledus: "Now do you ever think like the home audience might hold you responsible, because they don't see that loud, obnoxious personality that I've got?"
Jayron: "I don't think so."
Cledus: "Alright man, well, you're doing a great job, alright? (to Jason) Get over here Hoss. I've gotta talk to you real quick. Now, last week I made a STUPID comment about the Britney Spears thing, and what I did was I went on the Internet and I looked at some books, like, real, not bad books. And I wanna tell you right now. I gotta say, you still got the best ass. Better than Britney Spears. I'll tell you."
Jason: "Well, thank you Cledus."
Cledus: "Hey man, tell me something...tell the fans something at home, something that they don't know about you."
Jason: "Alright, real fast. One thing, real fast. In initiation in FFA. I had to dress up like a girl, and I went to the store in the morning before I went to school, and a guy started hitting on me, until I started talking to him, and then he left me alone. That's something that nobody knows, but you do now."
Cledus: "That's more than we need to know. Get me outta here Sara."
Sara: "Thank you Cledus. When we come back, another one of our remaining finalists gets some really good news. Plus, we find out which one of these four contestants America has decided to eliminate. You don't want to miss it."

Cledus: "Sara, you got it down so far. You're doing a great job."
Sara: "I'm having a blast. This is awesome. Well, right now there are four pretty nervous people standing up here, I'm sure. And that's because they know we only have three spots for next week's show.
Cledus: (to Justin) "Come here just a second. Man, I've had a ton of people in the last week come up to me and say you have turned it up a big time notch these last few weeks. Feel like it might be a little too late, or are you feeling pretty good about it?"
Justin: "No, I'll tell ya what. I have a tremendous fan base out there. I wanna thank you guys once again tonight. Thank you very much."
Cledus: "Alright man, best of luck to you bro.
Sara: "The second finalist moving one step closer to the title of Nashville Star and the guaranteed spot onstage at the Grand Ole Opry is... Jayron Weaver."

In Jayron's pre-recorded clip, he says, Coming into this, I think I made the statement that we didn't really feel like we were in competition with each other. So now that we're down to this many people, and you're actually seeing people leave, and that kind of stuff, now I'm beginning to feel that I am in competition with people. When before I just went out and laid out what I had. And now it feels like I need to step up things. I'm practicing more, and trying different things. And thinking of different ways so people can know me better. You know, I wanna win this thing, and I'm here to win it."

Sara: "Great job. Wonderful. Ok, now I know last week, Anastasia said you might be better suited for gospel music than country music. Do you agree with that?"
Jayron: "Well, I love gospel music, and I love country."
Sara: "Alrighty. Good job. Well, let's see what the judges thought of that."

Anastasia: "Well, I, like Phil, think you sing great. But, I still can't see you dodging beer bottles and women's underwear in honky tonks. I'm sorry. I can't. I can see you opening for Amy Grant. I really can. And I just don't feel like you want it as bad as the others."
Phil: "You know what? I think gospel and country are a lot alike. I mean they're a lot alike. And there is a lot of soul and passion. And you sing great, and you sing with so much passion. I think what you wanna do.. (to Anastasia) you just wanna see more passion from your performance. That's all. But you sing great. There's nothing more with gospel music. It's awesome."
Bret: "You know what I feel. I feel that you have a great knack to just vocally, like I told you.. your voice is insane. I think, and I mean this. If next week, you'd bring a song like "I Swear," you know a John Michael Montgomery.. just let your vocals do the talking. I think you have a great voice."
