Anastasia: No criticism here, Jason. You blew me away, and you deserve to be right where you are. And, just like Garth and George, song selection is going to be your all-important job for the future. Really pick your songs carefully."
Bret: "Jason, I feel close to you in this direction. I've been through the highs and lows. I feel the same passion that you have, and I've got punched in the face. I just keep on keepin' on. And no matter what happens tonight, you're a star. Don't ever change what you're doing, man. Just keep it."
Phil: "You're gonna be a great artist, man. You work so hard, and you're great to your fans. And, you're gonna miss your family alot, I can promise you. 'Cause I know I do on the road. But, it's going to be really hard, but you've got guts, and you're gonna be great."
LeAnn: "You know what, Jason? I have to agree with Anastasia. If you pick the right songs, you've got it. you're a beautiful man, inside and out, and I think America sees that. Obviously, that's why you're here."
LeAnn: "Now, say hello one more time to Erika Jo. Alright now, how does it feel to have all 10 of this year's Nashville Star finalists here tonight?
Erika Jo: "It is amazing to see everybody back, and we've got to hang out the last 2 days together, and it's been great. And I love each and every one of you. Honestly. It's been real, it's been fun, it's been real fun, guys."
LeAnn: "Has it settled into your little head yet, that in 10 minutes that you could be the next Nashville Star?"
Erika Jo: "It settled into my head a few minutes ago when the lady offered me the oxygen tank backstage."
LeAnn: "You might need that in a few minutes. Alright, let's send it out to Cledus T. Judd standing by with your family, to see how they are holding up.
Cledus: "I'm here with Erika Jo's dad, Bo. Bo, being a new father myself, I can not imagine how proud you are of that young one up there singing these last few weeks."
Bo: "Oh, we're very proud of her. This has been the greatest thing of our lives, so far."
Cledus: "I know you all have been here supporting her every week. It's gotta be difficult sitting back here in this chair and watching her sing her little behind off up there."
Bo: "It's extremely tough. Very tough."
Cledus: "You think you're gonna pull through? Mom, you ok over there?"
Bo: "Mom's doing better than me."
Cledus: "Have you already got the tour bus fired up? If not, I've got a nice taxi you can tour in. That's what I tour in."
Bo: "No, I've got a '94 Chevy with a U-Haul trailer."
Cledus: "Throw in that Chevy line there. Alright, back to you LeAnn."
We look at a clip of Erika Jo's Nashville Star experience, in her own words, "I am happy... surprised... and very thankful to still be here on this last show. It has been an incredible ride from beginning until now. There's so many big moments and big things about the show: singing with Jamie O'Neal, Phil Vasser, Bret Michaels... getting my name called every week, getting to be the last girl, getting to be in the final three. And it has been wonderful to be able to go on every week and play the music that I want to play, and be able to sing for people and them like what I do enough to be able to stay. Tonight, the pressure's off, I've done all that I can do, and now I just gotta cross my fingers and hope for the best. I've had so many dreams come true and met so many people and had so many great experiences, that I could never even tell all of my stories. It's been absolutely wonderful from beginning to end."
Erika performs "She's In Love With the Boy"
My thoughts: Just like her first performance, she does a great job, even if this isn't a spectacular performance. If this is her last performance, I would have liked to see her go out with something that really showed her vocal ability.
LeAnn: "Watching your parents out there, and watching your daddy watch you, you seem like daddy's little girl, yeah?"
Erika Jo: "I am. I actually split my time in half. I'm definately a mama and a daddy's girl."
LeAnn: Anything you want to say to them right now?"
Erika Jo: "Guys, it's been a great ride. Thank you for sharing it with me. And, thank you for helping me through the years. I love you so very much."
LeAnn: Alright, for the last time this season, and the last time of your career, let's see what the judges have to say."
Erika Jo: "Let's do it."
Bret: "Erika Jo, I think I'm more nervous than you are right now. I don't know what's going on, but, I've changed 42 times since this show started. I'm gonna tell you the same thing I said to you before. You've got confidence. You really got a long career, a long future ahead of you. And I'll tell you something, just do this... develop nerves of steel, 'cause you're gonna need it in this business. 'Cause you're gonna be around a long time, so you're gonna need nerves of steel. I'm gonna end on something I should end on.. Just rock."
