Soon, it's time to eliminate another finalist, and Jody Evans is the one to go. He bows out in his normal humble way, insisting that things are the way they should be, and that one of the remaining two is going to do a fantastic job.
Now, with the final two, we are treated to a wonderful performance by the final two, Jason Meadows and Erika Jo, who sing "Only In America."
Jason and Erika Jo will each get to perform once more, and each tell in their words about their Nashville Star experience. Jason is first, performing "The Cowboy in Me," which was his best performance ever, in my opinion. It's also the song Bret Michaels had suggested he sing several weeks before. It fits him like a glove.
