And we are back to the screens again for scenes from Casey Rivers' Nashville Star experience. You know the drill... scenes of him performing, judges comments, talking to Wynonna, etc. :) They announce him on the screen, and then on the stage, and what do you know.. there he is.
Casey's wearing a casual short sleeved light blue with stripes top and jeans, and he looks as fine as ever. He starts his show off with Travis Tritt's "Modern Day Bonnie and Clyde." Next, he serves up one of his original tunes. He performed this song on the show, "Good Things Gone Better." Love those doot-doot-doo-doo-doo's!
One of Casey's best performances was when he sang Blake Shelton's "Goodbye Time," and that song was next. Chills! And, for some fun, he introduces the next song as one that he sang on the show, but a certain judge really didn't like it. He won't say her name, 'cause he doesn't want to hurt her feelings. LOL! Yep, it's time for some "Great Balls of Fire," and Casey dances, and moves his hips a-la Elvis, and moves around the stage, even coming down by the barricade to sing near some of the female fans that had gone up front.
To close the show, Casey said that he wanted to sing a spiritual song that he sang on the show, and I know it's "How Great Thou Art," which he just sings so beautifully. Especially that last spine-tingling note. Wow! The crowd is on its feet as Casey leaves the stage.
