We are back to the screens again. We see scenes from Chris Young's Nashville Star experience. Chris breakdancing, taking off his hat, talking to Wynonna, him performing, the judges comments, and his winning the competition. Then, we hear his introduction on the screen, then on the stage... Chris Young.

Chris is wearing a black long-sleeved button-down shirt with some embroidery on the shoulders, and some distressed jeans. He's looking G-O-O-D! He starts his part of the show singing Tim McGraw's "Real Good Man." This was one of my favorite songs that he sang on the show, other than "Drinkin' Me Lonely." As good as Tim does it, I think that Chris sings it equally well, and gives it his own touch.

Chris welcomes the crowd to the show. He mentions that his album will be out on October 3rd, and he would like to perform some songs from it. The first is one that he co-wrote, "You're Gonna Love Me."

Next, we're treated to a short story, where Chris says that you should always listen to your grandma. Before he was on Nashville Star, his grandma had told him that she knew this songwriter that he should get together and write with. Chris kinda blew it off for a while, and finally she introduced him to Tim James, who wrote Toby Keith's "My List," and they did get to writing together, and one of their songs made the album, called "Small Town, Big Time." He said the moral of the story is "Always listen to your grandma!"

Chris said he was really happy to have been able to include Billy Yates incredible song "Flowers" on the album. This is actually the only other ballad on the album, other than "Drinkin' Me Lonely," and Chris does it so well. It's a really sad song, and after it was over, Chris said, "Ok, no more sad songs. Let's kick it up a knotch." The next song was another one that he co-wrote, called "Lay It On Me." This is another one he co-wrote with Tim James, and if they release these both as singles, they're guaranteed hits. At least in my book. Great upbeat tracks!

My second favorite track on the album (and it's virtually impossible to really rank these, as they're all excellent) was the next song Chris sang. It's called "Beer & Gasoline," and it's another upbeat, fun number. Chris mentioned he was going to be appearing on the Jay Leno show on October 12th, so tune in. I'm there! He thanked everyone for coming, and he left the stage to thunderous applause from the entire audience.

Time for an encore! How about some "Keep Your Hands To Yourself"? Great way to end the show. Casey, Nicole and Matt returned to the stage and everyone waved goodbye. Then, they all jumped down off the stage to the barrier to shake hands and greet the fans before leaving for the next stop on the tour.

What a great show! Every single one of them gave an awesome performance. I know Chris is gonna go far with his awesome new album, and everything to come. I wish the same success to Nicole, Casey and Matt. They all deserve it just as much.
