Next, we will have Jason Aldean perform "Hicktown" with some people everyone should recognize.
Back from the commercial break Troy and Wynonna introduce Jason Aldean, who performs "Hicktown." At the chorus, Jewels, Shy and Monique come in and join the singing. Next Jared comes out and sings a line, then Melanie sings, and Kristen and then Matt, who is wearing a shirt that said "They told Hank, Waylon and Cash No." Lastly, Chris, Casey and Nicole sing the last verse. Wow, I wish they would have done more group numbers. This was really good!
The time has come to narrow down the field to only two finalists. The person with the least amount of votes this week, finishing in third place is Nicole Jamrose. Nicole hugs Casey and Chris and talks with Wynonna.
Nicole: Don't you dare be sad.
Wynonna I'm sad, I'm really sad. This is all about your moment. This is it. What do you want to say to your fans, and your friends?
Nicole: You know I love you all. And, thank you so much for being there for me. I couldn't have done it without you. Especially my husband and my kids out there. It's been a wild ride, and we're gonna hit the road this summer on the tour. Please come out and support us. Let's have some fun.
Wynonna Don't you ever give up dear. This is just a bump in the road. Any last words?
Nicole: I'm done working for tonight. I get to have fun.
Wynonna Let's have a party. You and me. The heck with everybody else. One more last time for Nicole Jamrose.
Performing together for the first time together for the first time are Chris Young and Casey Rivers.
Casey comes out first, singing the first verse, and a chorus of "I Like, I Love It" Chris comes out on the second verse, and chorus. Then, we cut to Casey in the audience hugging and singing to the girls. Then, Chris is in the audience singing to some of the girls. They sing the last chorus together.
After the next commercial break we get to hear the final two sing solo one more time, then Phil Vassar will sing "Last Day of My Life."
Next up is Phil Vassar singing "Last Day of My Life." He's got his piano center stage, and is surrounded by a ton of candles. The audience members look like they all have glow in the dark sticks, which they are waving back and forth as Phil sings.
