The bottom two are Laura & Sophie and Alyson Gilbert.
Next to perform is Alyson Gilbert.
In the pre-recorded video, Alyson remembers last week when she didn't follow John Rich's advice. Then, they show this week when she sees her husband and mom. She's gonna sing "She's In Love With the Boy."
Alyson sings the song as she walks around the stage.
My thoughts: Alyson doesn't do too bad, but she seems to be doing the wide eye look again.
Jewel: Alyson, your eyeballs are back with the popping. You're a better singer than you've been singing. I don't know what's going on.
Jeffrey: I'm bummed out too. I saw you during the week. I told you not to put more into it...than what you already have this beautiful voice. I felt like you went against what you were being told to do.
John: I don't think you went against what you were being told again. I think you listened very well. I think you have moments of brilliance. But, moments don't make it at this point. You've got to be brilliant from begininng to the end.

Next, Laura & Sophie will sing.
In their pre-recorded video, the girls talk to Jeffrey, who says he likes it when they are more laid back. They're gonna sing "Walking on Sunshine." They bring both of their families in, and everyone hugs and cries.
In the live performance, one of the girls plays a guitar and the other sings.
My thoughts: I don't know about this song. It's too slow for me. When they sped it up, it sounded a little better. They were much better last week.
Jewel: I liked the arrangement starting slow. It should have been a lot of things that it wasn't. I was pulling for you.
John: I think you're two of the sweetest girls ever. And I think you come off as high school girls at a high school talent show. I think the music business and the road would chew you up and spit you out. I think you're a few years away from becoming really, truly superstar material. Some of the young talent in country music that are your age would clean the stage with you girls, and I don't want to see that happen.
Jeffrey: I was proud of your work tonight. If you squeak through this week, you've seen the performances we've had tonight. It's been amazing what some of these guys have stepped up to. You're young. I wanna help you. If you get one more shot. We've gotta think of how we can make this thing work.

The finalist receiving the least amount of votes last week is Alyson Gilbert. They show her video of her journey to Nashville Star.
Now, Laura & Sophie will sing their second song. They sing "Because of You."
Jeffrey: Girls, here's what I want to think about this week. You two are young, you have the least to lose. We gotta find a way to get you to the next level.
They show a recap of the performances, and it's time to vote for your favorite. Billy Ray says this week's votes will be twice as important, because next week two people will be going home, and one person won't make it past the first five minutes of the show.
