Laura Fedor and Sophie Zalokar met seven years ago in a musical group, and have been friends ever since. At a time when most teenagers would be enjoying their summer vacation, Laura, 18, missed her high school graduation, to spend her last few weeks fighting with her parents who forbade her from dong "Nashville Star." She chose to go against her parents' wishes to spend the summer with her best friend, Sophie, 16, trying to pursue their musical dreams.
