Nascar driver Kyle Petty performed a song he wrote "Never Do That Again." He introduced his son-in-law as a struggling artist, Randy Monatana. Montana performed an original song "Only Lonely" before songwriter Richard Supa took the stage to sing "Pink," a song he co-wrote for Aerosmith.

Matt Kearney performed "Nothing to Loose" and "It's Undeniable" next.

Storme came back on the stage to auction off a guitar that had been autographed by each of the artist performing. The guitar went for $10,000 dollars. Dierks came on the stage to thank the man who won the guitar auction. Bentley also announced he would personally meet him at the gate to hand him the guitar.

Next, John Rich (of Big & Rich) performed "I Walk the Line" followed by his recent hit "Lost in This Moment with You." Rich explained that his grandfather, who had received six purple hearts during World War II, had passed a way last year. John performed "The Man," a song he wrote in honor of his memory.

Bentley came on the stage once again to ask Rich to perform the song he had recently wrote for John's upcoming solo CD. Rich agreed and then played "I Built Myself a Bar in the Back of My Car and Drove Myself to Drink."

Rich jokingly suptstituted Dierks's name in "Old Man Tucker" as well as throwing in a couple of lines from Justin Timberlake's "Sexy Back" in the middle of the song. John closed his set with "Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy."

Back on stage, Storme Warren joked about John Rich and Dierks Bentley being country music's answer to Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin.

Dierks Bentley was the final perfomer of the night. The Warren Brothers joined Deirks on stage to perform his latest single that they helped co-write for him called, "Feel Like Fire."

As the Warren Brothers left the stage Dierks kept the party going with his up beat songs "Lotta Leavin' Left to Do," "What Was I Thinking" and "How Am I Doin'." He slowed things down a bit with "Come a Little Closer." Bentley finished out his set with a traveling song for the road, "Every Mile a Memory."

The Third Annual Miles and Music was a huge success for Bentley, Vanderbilt Children's Hospital and everyone participating in the Miles and Music Ride event. Bentley more than surpassed his goal of $100,000 with a total of over $275,000 raised from the event.

This event left me curious as to how much Bentley, his artist friends and fans will raise for the hospital in the following years.
