Shelly Fairchild Tours With Rascal Flatts

Columbia Records newcomer Shelly Fairchild is adding Rascal Flatts to her impressive list of tour partners who include John Fogerty, Travis Tritt, Wynonna and Brad Paisley, among others. Fairchild will join the guys on ten dates stopping in Gainesville, Florida on February 18; Columbia, South Carolina on February 19; Columbus, Georgia on February 20; Reading, Pennsylvania on February 25; Amherst, Maine on February 26; Trenton, New Jersey on February 27; Austin, TX on March 4; Bossier City, Louisiana on March 5; Southaven, Mississippi on March 11 and Biloxi, Mississippi on March 12.

Fairchild will be featured on the Travel Channel's series "Fantasy Living" on February 28th at 8 p.m. EST in an episode on fantasy buses. The channel caught up with Fairchild on the Rock The Vote Tour in St. Louis. Part of the tour entourage was the John Lennon Education Bus, which is equipped with a full recording studio.

Rascal Flatts Tour Performs for 50,000 Fans

The Rascal Flatts “Here’s To You Tour” continues its sell-out successes with shows over the weekend. The tour adds Columbia Records recording artist Shelly Fairchild, with current opener Blake Shelton. Since its re-launch on January 27, Rascal Flatts has performed for over 50,000 fans. This leg of the tour continues through March 12. Rascal Flatts is enjoying a career-best record as “Bless The Broken Road” remains at #1 for the fourth consecutive week.

Jett Williams Breaks New Ground In Country Music While Jennifer Lopez And Marc Anthony Lead The Way In Pop Music

The 47th Annual Grammy Awards included a duet performance of “Escapémonos” by Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony that reintroduced Latin music to the masses, but Lopez and Anthony aren’t the only trend setters. Jett Williams, daughter of legendary Hank Williams, is working on a new Latin single as well – a remake of her father’s “A Mansion on the Hill.” The catch? The forthcoming duet will include both English and Spanish.

The new version of the single is very sexy—combining horns, a faster tempo, and sultry Latin lyrics. Jett is very excited about the new single, as she adjusts to performing the track to a more up-beat melody. “I’m accustomed to standing on stage in front of an audience playing my daddy’s version, and this time the song takes on a life of its own!
