Toby Keith made headlines with his keynote interview at Country Radio Seminar-36 on Thursday. Keith reportedly told interviewer Lon Helton that he would consider some changes when his contract with Universal Music Group-owned DreamWorks Nashville is fulfilled. '' . . .You're going to see some adjustments made where my energy's going to be better used,'' Keith told Helton.
Keith said he would begin recording the last studio album he owes the label group in July. Keith hinted that his own label may be in the works after his contract with DreamWorks Nashville is up. Keiths next album, Honkeytonk U, is due out on May 17. More...

The title says it all, says lead singer and band founder Ashley Bowers, We are country so we can, and we are proud of it. This record is all about being confident in who you are, no matter where you come from.
Bowers wrote or co-wrote 11 of the 12 tracks on the album.

Members of Rounder Records bluegrass group The Grascals were honored to be invited by Earl and Louise Scruggs to perform at the opening of the Banjo Man: The Musical Journey of Earl Scruggs exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum on Saturday, March 5, at 4 PM. The Grascals will perform classic Flatt & Scruggs songs, as well as some selections from their self-titled Rounder debut.
Mr. Scruggs says of The Grascals, "I have known most of the members of the band for several years and find them to be both delightful and very talented individuals.
