Brooks & Dunn To Launch "Deuces Wild" Tour August 6 With Special Guests Big & Rich And The Warren Brothers

BROOKS & DUNN are going all in this summer. With three pairs. Country's most successful duo of all time is teaming with BIG & RICH and the WARREN BROTHERS for "DEUCES WILD," a major 32-date shed tour launching August 6 in Dallas, TX and wrapping October 30 in West Palm Beach, FL.

The "DEUCES WILD" tour follows BROOKS & DUNN's strict tradition of bringing only the best acts on the road with them. Since Amber Dotson moved to Nashville and started her successful career with Capitol Records so many of her dreams are coming true. Of course the first two to come true were signing with Capitol and opening for superstar, George Strait, on his 2005 tour and then comes the perks with stardom...designer clothes and fancy stars? Not for Amber, who is an avid sports enthusiast. She finally got to purchase her dream Shimano Karado fishing reel to go along with her G-Loomis fishing pole. Then she bought her dad, mom and sister, Samantha, bowling balls, bags, and shoes...and decided to buy some for herself also.

This is one Nashville artist who is keeping it country!

Howard Bellamy Takes A Bride

Howard Bellamy of the legendary country music duo The Bellamy Brothers married Jennifer Wright on Wednesday, April 6th in Las Vegas at the Little Church of The West. Partner David Bellamy and his wife Susan were also in attendance. The newlyweds plans for a honeymoon are very simple according to Howard Bellamy, "We're on the road so much, spending time at home would be our idea of a great honeymoon." Howard surprised his delighted bride with a 4.5 carat wedding ring. More...

Keith Urban To Host Westwood One ACM Nominations Special

Westwood One announced today that Keith Urban will host the Academy of Country Music Awards Nominations Special, for broadcast the weekend of May 13-16, 2005. The 40th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards will be broadcast live from the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, NV on May 17 on CBS.

Westwood One’s ACM Nominations Special previews this year’s ACM nominees with music and interviews from Martina McBride, Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, Brooks and Dunn, Kenny Chesney, and more. The two-hour special also features highlights from last year’s show including acceptance speeches from previous winners.

This year, Urban is nominated for four ACM Awards, including Entertainer of the Year and Top Male Vocalist. His 2004 album, Be Here, is nominated for album of the year and the single “Days Go By” is up for Single Record of the Year.

Vocal Cord Injury Temporarily Sidelines Rimes’ ‘Nashville Star’ Duties

Grammy-winning artist LeAnn Rimes has a broken blood vessel in one of her vocal cords and has to temporarily step down as host of Nashville Star on USA Network.

In addition, Rimes has had to postpone several personal appearances and performance dates. Rimes' illness is the result of a severe case of viral bronchitis. Although there is no timetable for her return to the stage, her doctors expect a speedy recovery.

Sara Evans will take over hosting duties for this week's live airing of Nashville Star on USA on April 12 at 10 p.m. ET.
