Forty5 South To Play WIVK Benefit Show For Fallen Soldier’s Family In Knoxville, TN

Country music band Forty5 South will be in Knoxville, TN on Tuesday, April 19th to perform at a WIVK Benefit Show supporting the family of East Tennessee soldier, Sgt. Paul Thomason, who was recently killed in Iraq. Forty5 South joins Kevin Fowler and Jessi Alexander to round out the live music for the evening. Showtime is set for approximately 9 PM ET at Blue Cats Live in Knoxville (125 E Jackson Ave.). Tickets for the show are $1 and are available at the door. All proceeds go directly to the family of Sgt. Thomason.

Ashley Bowers, lead singer of Forty5 South, is looking forward to helping out, “When you stop and think about the personal consequences of losing a loved one during war-time, it really makes you be thankful for what you have. Willis Tippin, Father of Country Singer Aaron Tippin, Killed in Traffic Accident

The Highway Patrol says a tractor trailer was heading South on NC 1-11 when a 2002 Ford F-150 traveling north crossed the center line and crashed into the trailer of the semi. Unfortunately, one of the drivers didn't make it. Investigators say the driver of the pick-up was Willis Tippin - country music singer Aaron Tippin's father. The tractor trailer driver is doing fine

LeAnn Rimes To Return to ‘Nashville Star’ For Finale

Sara Evans was the guest host on the April 12 episode of Nashville Star, filling in for LeAnn Rimes, who was sidelined this week by a broken blood vessel in one of her vocal cords. Although there is no timetable for her return to the stage, her doctors expect a speedy recovery. Rimes plans to return to Nashville Star in time for the April 26 finale.

Jamie O’Neal kicked of the show with her hit single, "Trying to Find Atlantis." Justin David was the latest contestant to get eliminated.

Judge Bret Michaels will perform his Poison hit, "Nothin' But A Good Time," and his new country single, "Open Road" on the next episode of Nashville Star. The show airs on April 19 at 10 p.m. ET.

Craig Morgan Holds On To #1 For Five Weeks on R&R

Broken Bow Records and Craig Morgan celebrate a record-setting week with his hit single, "That's What I Love About Sunday." The single marks the first time history that an independent record label has had a #1 for five consecutive weeks on the R&R country singles chart.

Morgan has announced his follow up single will be "Redneck Yacht Club," which was written by Thom Shepherd and Steve Williams.

Blaine Larsen is Hot on Yahoo!

BNA Records newcomer Blaine Larsen’s critically acclaimed, Off To Join The World, continues to be the best selling debut country album of the year.

Propelled by the powerful top 15 single, “How Do You Get That Lonely” and appearances on ABC’s Good Morning America, CNN, TV Guide Channel and features in USA Today, Chicago Tribune, Country Weekly and more, Larsen has become a hot web search. According to Yahoo!, the period between March 3 and April 2 saw an increase of more than 250 percent for searches of Blaine Larsen.

Larsen makes an appearance on MSNBC’s Entertainment Hot List, Girls’ Life Magazine and a feature in USA Weekend. He will also experience his first CMA Music Fest and is set to perform on Friday, June 10 at the annual fan extravaganza in downtown Nashville.

Miranda Lambert To Perform On Tonight Show This Friday!

Epic Records Nashville's newest sensation Miranda Lambert, will make her debut appearance on the Tonight Show this Friday, April 15, 2005. Lambert will be performing a song off of her first CD, Kerosene, which debuted at Number One on Billboard's country charts and saw initial sales of 40,390 units in the first week. More...
