Since Chris Cagle got the doctor's okay to go back to singing, he is making up for lost voice time. When he is not on the road, delivering his trademark all-out performances in concert, he is in the studio working on his next album. Look for it to come out later this year.

AMC Series To Feature Coal Miner’s Daughter

AMC’s new series, Into Character will re-enact a scene from Loretta Lynn biopic Coal Miner’s Daughter. The series is a reality anthology showcase that presents movie fans the opportunity to live out their favorite movie scene fantasies.

The show features Manhattan fashionista Christina Pronzati, who grew up in Italy and watched Sissy Spacek's portrayal of Loretta Lynn, which helped her learn English and inspired her to a life-long love of American country music.

The episode airs July 14 at 10 p.m. ET.

Marty Stuart Free on Bond after DUI Charge

Marty Stuart is free on bond following a June 23 charge with DUI, simple possession and violating Tennessee’s implied consent law after refusing to take a Breathalyzer. Stuart was charged after a traffic accident in front of a McDonald’s in Hendersonville, TN.

Stuart’s court date is July 27.

Stuart was charged with drunken driving in April 2002 after police got a tip he was intoxicated at a store. That charge was dismissed after a judge ruled police did not have probable cause to stop the car.

Joe Nichols' CD Release and Appearances

Joe Nichols will appear live on ABC TV's Good Morning America on Tuesday, June 29th at 8:30 a.m., performing two songs to launch his new Universal South CD, Revelation.
