Lofton Creek’s Keith Bryant Rocks The Vote on After Midnite

“Ridin’ With The Legend “ by Lofton Creek’s Keith Bryant was played on After Midnite on June 28th and captured an 89 percent “Pick It” from listeners.

The song is most requested on many stations. Lofton Creek’s Mike Borchetta says it is showing signs of being an “absolute phenomenon.” Borchetta should know. He has promoted many million sellers during his career that started back in 1959. Bryant’s new album, Ridin’ With the Legend is reaching stores now.

Terri Clark Gets Support of Her Girls

Pinmonkey Hits the Studio

Tales of Pinmonkey's demise may be exaggerated. With the departure of drummer/vocalist Rick Schell and the band’s separation from BNA Records, it's easy to draw conclusions -- but the obvious would be anything but on track.

"You know we came into this two brothers who were raised on country and bluegrass in East Tennessee and Michael Reynolds' bluegrass sense and songwriting," said band member Chad Jeffers, "and as long as we've got that, we want to play and people want to hear us, we can't see walking away from Pinmonkey. Doug Supernaw Remains Jailed in Texas

Doug Supernaw remains jailed in Potter County Texas after more than a month. The Amarillo Globe-News reports that Supernaw is awaiting a July 22 trial on possession of marijuana and criminal trespass. Supernaw also faces three felony charges in Washington County, including two charges of bail jumping and failure to appear charges for missing court appearances, along with a charge of assault on a peace officer. Supernaw’s bonds total more than $406,500, according to the paper. More...

Big & Rich Go Gold

Big & Rich painted the Nation's Capitol gold on June 28, during a day off from the Tim McGraw Out Loud Tour. Mitch Bainwol of the Recording Industry Association of America made a surprise presentation to Big & Rich as he handed the duo a Gold record for their Warner Bros. debut Horse Of A Different Color. Big Kenny and John Rich were in Washington, D.C. on Monday to perform for a select group of Capitol Hill staffers at the request of the RIAA.

Horse Of A Different Color hit stores on May 4 and is currently in the number two position on Billboard's Top Country Albums Chart. The duo also appear in a two-page spread in the July 9 issue of Entertainment Weekly on stands Friday.

David Lee Murphy & Lee Roy Parnell will bring their "Paintin' The Town Tour" to the Grand Ole Opry on Saturday, July 10, for the 6:30 and 9:30 pm shows. David Lee & Lee Roy are on tour this summer through the fall on the "Paintin' The Town Tour" that is partying it's way across the country. David Lee will perform songs from his new CD, Tryin' To Get There, on Koch Records Nashville that includes his #5 hit single, "Loco."

Lee Greenwood To Hannity & Colmes On July 5th
