Kenny Rogers On MSNBC's Deborah Norville Tonight Sat. Aug. 21

From his early days with the First Edition to his recent return to the top of the charts, MSNBC's Deborah Norville sits down for a full hour with legendary entertainer Kenny Rogers on "Deborah Norville Tonight" to talk about Rogers' career, his new album and the latest additions to his family, Saturday, August 21, at 9:00 p.m. EST.

Rogers' newest album, "Kenny Rogers: 42 Ultimate Hits," was released by Capitol Records in June, 2004. The career retrospective includes every great Kenny Rogers song from every phase of his career. The collection also has two new songs, "We Are The Same," an anthemic call to focus on what we in the world have in common rather than pointing out our differences, and "My World Is Over," a duet with new artist Whitney Duncan.

Tim McGraw Launches New Series on XM Satellite Radio

XM Satellite Radio announces the launch of their new weekly series “Highway 16 ShortCuts” on contemporary country channel Highway 16. The series kicks off August 20th at 6 p.m. EST, featuring the upcoming Tim McGraw CD Live Like You Were Dying. The show will encore at the same time Saturday, Sunday and Monday, prior to the album’s Tuesday release date.

“Highway 16 ShortCuts” celebrates the arrival of new music by playing the entire album in a commercial free environment. For the premiere episode, country music superstar Tim McGraw sat down for a lengthy conversation with Highway 16's Jon Anthony about the new music, recording with the Dancehall Doctors again, life on the road, and an update on his movie career. "In true XM fashion, we're giving the real music fans an opportunity they don't get anywhere else -- the chance to hear every song on a hot, new CD before it goes on sale and with NO commercials," said Anthony. "And to show our dedication to great new music, we'll air it not just once, but four times over the weekend, so that everyone has a chance to hear it! At XM, WE'RE music fans first and foremost. This is going to be a great series!"
