John Conlee Set To Perform At Bush/cheney Rally
It is no great mystery who John Conlee will be voting for in the 2004 Presidential Election this coming November, as Conlee is slated to perform at an upcoming Bush/Cheney rally in Erie, Pennsylvania on September 4. When asked about his choice to support President George W. Bush, Conlee replied I will make no excuses for my decision to support Mr. Bush. Zona Jones Visits Great American Country (GAC) And Takes Video Requests With Suzanne Alexander On The Set Of CRL
After a few travel delays and a change of planes ZONA JONES arrived in Nashville, TN just in time to sit down with Suzanne Alexander of CRL and take a few video requests as well as perform on the show airing today, Thursday, September 3rd at 5 p.m. and repeating at 9 p.m. EST. Afterwards, a quick stop at the CMA makes Jones an official supporter of the Country Music Association as he signed up for membership.
No sooner did the ink dry on his CMA membership forms did Jones have to hop on a plane back to Beaumont, TX to prepare for the 2004 Labor Day Music Festival saluting the hardworking men and women of Southeast Texas. Historic Concert to Benefit Local Mentoring Nonprofit
Tall Boots to Fill, a concert featuring rare and unreleased repertoire of the Sons Of The Pioneers will be performed by an all-star band, Way Out West, on October 2nd at 7:30 p.m. in the Historic Columbia Theater for the Performing Arts in Longview, Washington.
The concert will mark the 70th anniversary year of the first performance by the Sons of the Pioneers and will also feature music of the early western swing pioneers. All proceeds will go to the mentoring organization Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Washington (BBBSSW).

Mountain Heart Brings Bluegrass Music To South America
From the mountains of east Tennessee and Virginia to the mountains of eastern Paraguay and the fertile coastal lowland of Uruguay, Mountain Heart is taking their brand of turbo-charged bluegrass music to South America. The band, currently nominated for five awards by the International Bluegrass Music Association, including Entertainer of the Year, will perform in the capital cities of Montevideo, Uruguay and Asuncion, Paraguay.
The concerts are the result of an invitation from the U.S. Embassy in Uruguay, in an effort to introduce a genre of music born in the United States to the people of South America.
