Little Texas performs at Bush rally

One of Country music's favorite groups appeared at President Bush's campaign rally in Melbourne, FL on Saturday, October 23, at the Space Coast Stadium. It's a natural that Little Texas was selected to perform at the one of the final pre-election campaign stops because when the President ran for Governor of Texas he used one of the band's hits "God Bless Texas" as his campaign theme.

"Little Texas is very proud and honored to be invited to perform for President George W. Bush and to play even a small part in his re-election campaign," says Little Texas member, Dwayne O'Brien. "We were honored when God Blessed Texas was used as a theme song for his gubernatorial campaign in Texas and we are even more passionate about giving our support to this man at this time for this nation." "We don't think about songs in terms of chart positions, but it's great to know that people feel connected to them in some way," said Richie McDonald. "Writing is a blessing and having the opportunity to work with all of the people we work with is an honor." More...
