Sawyer Brown Returns To The Opry
After almost four years, Sawyer Brown is returning to the Grand Ole Opry on December 4.
The group will debut their new single, "Mission Temple Fireworks Stand," and new lead guitarist Shayne Hill will make his Opry debut with the band.
The band recently played the Coastal Festival in South Carolina, where they set the longstanding event's Monday night attendance record with over 9000 people in attendance.
Chris LeDoux Undergoing Cancer Treatment
Country artist and rodeo champion Chris LeDoux is preparing to take on another health battle. LeDoux is undergoing radiation therapy for cancer. He has canceled three shows while he undergoes the required treatment but is expected to return to the road soon. "I know it's going to be tough" said LeDoux, "but I'm confident that I can put this behind me, and get back to my regular ranch and concert schedule."
In 2000 LeDoux was diagnosed with a liver disease that eventually required him to undergo a liver transplant. He beat the odds and was soon back performing on the road.
Glenn Cummings Kicks Off Album Release
Glenn Cummings (Gulf Coast Records) kicked off the release of his album, Big, with a bang! More than 250 people, including many music industry insiders, celebrated with Glenn and Gulf Coast Records at S.I.R. in Nashville on Monday, November 1.

Ricky Dean Morgan Continuing Success In Foreign Markets
Frank Willson, head of BSW Records and Universal Music Marketing, has announced Ricky Dean Morgan's debut album, Country Country (produced by Jim Vest), has been receiving excellent airplay in the United Kingdom and England. The album has been staying in the top 10 on radio stations and on the most requested lists.
Based on the success of Morgan's recordings, he has been invited to perform at four of the major Country music festivals held each year in Europe.
