Honky Tonkers Deliver Country Music To Sin City: Mark Chesnutt And The Honky Tonk Tailgate Party To Play Miss Rodeo America -- Las Vegas
Country favorites Mark Chesnutt and The Honky Tonk Tailgate Party members Rhett Akins, Chad Brock, David Kersh and Daryle Singletary will celebrate the official kick-off of the 2004 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo at the 18th Annual Downtown Hoedown. The Downtown Hoedown will take place on Thursday, December 2 at the Fremont Street Experience. The Honky Tonk Tailgate Party, renowned for their party-all-night reputation, will perform on the 3rd Street Stage. Mark Chesnutt, who is recognized by die-hard country music fans as the voice of traditional country music, will close out the NashVegas-style shindig in a headline performance on the 1st Street stage.

Emerson Drive Gets 'Lucky' in Kentucky
Fans tuned into the Opry on November 13th and heard a new song by Emerson Drive and wanted to hear more. Radio stations have been hounded since the show, by fans who want to hear more of Im A Lucky Man.
Following their Opry performance on Saturday, Emerson Drive headed north on I-65 to Bowling Green, KY for a show at Western Kentucky University. Before their show, they spent time with the folks at WGGC-FM in Bowling Green, and let South Central Kentucky Listeners get another earful of Lucky Man.
That evening at the show in Van Meter Auditorium, atop the infamous Hill at Western, Emerson Drive and opener Jedd Hughes were not the only recognizable country songsters around. Alabama member Teddy Gentry was also on hand, but left the music-making to the aforementioned artists.
Jimmy Buffett To Release Fourth Novel
Music icon Jimmy Buffett enjoyed a #1 pop and country album with his most recent collection, License to Chill. November 30 marks the release of Buffetts fourth novel, A Salty Piece of Land. In support of the release, he will make multiple high-profile appearances including CNN on November 29, and NBCs Today on November 30, where he will perform the song that became the books title. Buffett appears on Live with Regis and Kelly on December 2.
LeAnn Rimes Spokesperson for 'Treat Eczema Now'

The Grascals Debut At #3 On Country Singles Sales Chart With Viva Las Vegas
Rounder Records bluegrass group The Grascals debuted at #3 on Billboards Hot Country Singles Sales chart (Dec. 4 issue) with their first release, Viva Las Vegas. A bluegrass-infused version of the Elvis Presley classic, the song was recorded as a duet with Dolly Parton and is included on the bands forthcoming self-titled Rounder debut, in stores on February 8, 2005. The single also entered the all-genre Hot 100 Singles Sales chart at #27.

Martina McBride is Having a Baby!
Martina and John McBride have something extra-special to be thankful for this holiday season as they are expecting their third child in mid June.
The couple announced the happy news during the Thanksgiving holiday. The new McBride will join big sisters Delaney, who will be ten in December, and Emma who is six.
"We're so blessed and thrilled to be having another baby", says Martina. "Emma and Delaney are very excited and it will be great to share this whole experience with them."
